Safety credentials tell you who actually operates your flight and how closely they're checked. Here's what the common ones mean.
FAR Part 135
FAR Part 135 governs U.S. commuter and on-demand operations. Jet Access lists Air Carrier Certificate #1JAA142N. For travel elsewhere, the selected operator must hold the applicable local authority. Excelsior is a broker, not the certificate holder.
ARGUS
ARGUS independently evaluates charter operators. Jet Access’s current safety page lists ARGUS Platinum Elite. This is Jet Access Aviation’s rating, not Excelsior’s or a rating of every sourced operator.
WYVERN
WYVERN evaluates operator safety practices. Jet Access’s October 14, 2026 announcement confirms WYVERN Wingman certification. Older charter pages still say Registered; the newer announcement is the source for Wingman. Other operators must be verified separately.
Questions to ask any provider
Who is the operator, and what is their certificate number? What independent audits do they hold? Will the operator change after I book?
Official sources: Air carrier certificate · Safety credentials · Wingman announcement
General planning guidance, not a quote or program agreement. Excelsior Jets sources aircraft from operators; the selected carrier confirms aircraft suitability and operational details. Written booking or ownership terms govern your arrangement.
